This webbing is woven from para-aramid fibers, renowned for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio that is stronger than steel. Its defining characteristic is its ability to withstand extreme temperatures and direct flame without melting or dripping, decomposing only at temperatures above 800°F (427°C). This makes it an essential component for safety-critical applications where failure could be catastrophic.
