Commenting on the continued success of the platform, the CEO of TFI P N Krishna Murthy said,:
"For more than twenty years, our shows have grown alongside the industry, becoming a trusted marketplace where serious business happens. Every edition reinforces the confidence that exhibitors and buyers have in our platform. The success of the shows has consistently resulted in strong business outcomes for participants, and we are confident that the 2026 edition in Bengaluru will once again deliver record engagement with quality trade buyers. The textile world today is looking increasingly towards India, and platforms like TFI play a crucial role in enabling that global connection."
The journey began in 2004, when the first-ever fabrics and accessories exhibition in Bengaluru successfully brought together 46 exhibitors under one roof, opening new avenues for collaboration within the textile industry. Encouraged by the response, the platform expanded in 2009 to Tirupur under the umbrella of TFI – Textile Fairs India, South India’s knitwear hub, broadening participation across fibres, yarns, fabrics, and accessories, and receiving overwhelming support from exhibitors and buyers alike.
With proven success in bridging industry gaps across South India, the organizers later expanded into New Delhi in 2016 creating a comprehensive sourcing and networking platform for North India as well. Over the years, the shows have evolved in Ludhiana, Mumbai, Kolkata and became a trusted platform in pan-India thereby serving the entire textile ecosystem.
