Established in 1984 by Mr. Satyanarayan Agarwal as a composite unit comprising weaving and processing, Shree Venkateshwar Group (SVG) has grown to become a vertically and laterally integrated textile manufacturer known as SVG Fashions Pvt. Having participated in the F&A show for two editions now, Mr. Rajkumar Agarwal, Managing Director, SVG Fashions Pvt. Ltd. and Raj Rayon Industries Ltd., shared his experience of procuring the contract with Adidas of the official world cup jerseys for the Indian cricket team during the Bangalore edition of F&A Show and ASF held on 20, 21, 22 March 2024 at Trade Centre, KTPO, Whitefield.
Mr. Rajkumar began by introducing themselves as an end-to-end solution provider from polyester yarn spinning to dyeing, knitting, printing and so much more all the way through garment manufacturing all under one roof. They believe in perfecting one skill rather than being imperfect in a hundred. This is also the reason they specialise only in polyester fabric - knitting and weaving. They have circular, flat and warp knitting machines along with weaving and embroidery happening simultaneously, aiding in the production of up to 50 kgs of fresh samples on a daily basis.
Their dedication to their product manufacturing, R&D, on-time deliveries, and stringent quality checks led them to collaborate with Adidas for the manufacturing of the official world cup jerseys for the Indian cricket team. “A truly proud moment for all at SVG!” says Mr. Rajkumar Agarwal. SVG has been Adidas India’s nominated vendor for polyester fabrics for the last 16 years. When the World Cup came in 2023, Adidas was keen to develop a new fabric for the jersey and the team at SVG made it happen. Their relentless focus on innovation and agile mindset helped them to manufacture record quantities in very less time.
He additionally expressed his joy regarding all the potential customers they met through the F&A Show at Tirupur and now Bangalore, organised by S S Textile Media Private Limited. He was confident that he shall continue to meet more in the coming days as well. He further expressed the importance of trade shows, especially for SVG, saying “It increases the company’s visibility, and one has to be there in the shows to have their presence felt in the industry and additionally also acquire a lot of potential customers. We too have met a lot of potential customers and have become their regular customers who swear by them!”

Upon asking about his opinion on how the market conditions have been fluctuating and what is his stand on the same, he responded saying “That it is all part of the game, that is bound to happen! One has to up their game. Keep on innovating and bringing new things to the market while staying up to date with the newest trends of the season”, said Mr. Rajkumar Agarwal.
